You can do JVs, article marketing, video marketing, PPC advertising, Facebook advertising, banner ads, solo ads (and the list can go on and on). All of these techniques work, and are efficient ways of getting traffic to your website.
The key, though, is how to market your MLM using these lead generation techniques in a way that will bring you good quality, targeted leads. The way to do that is to avoid being a “jack of all trades” when it comes to traffic. Your strategy should be to pick just one source of traffic and just use that one source until you become very proficient at it and are seeing good results from it. You can use teleconferences and/or monthly webinars in which you share meaningful content, have a Q&A session and then make an offer to them (more specifics about this in Crucial Step #4).
Another effective way to build these relationships is through social media sites. If you don’t already have a Facebook account set up, think about setting one up. It is a great way to interact with your prospects, and to get them to engage and interact with you. The more you do this kind of interaction with your prospects, the more viral your name (and your brand) will become.

After all, you did go into business at least in part to make money – and a business cannot survive (let alone thrive) without it!

There is one really important thing to note here before I tell you how to monetize your list. You need to be able to execute Crucial Concepts #2 and #3 successfully before you can implement this concept properly. If you don’t do the “foundation” of these two things before you work on monetizing your list, you will sabotage yourself and your ability to make the kind of money you have the ability to be making.
So how do you market your MLM business online in a way that will best monetize your list? The two things I want you to think about when you’re generating revenue have to do with thinking beyond just the products at your disposal that are offered by your company.
What are some complimentary products that you could market to your list as an affiliate and earn a hefty commission? Also, are there some complimentary products you can create and sell to your database? These are not meant to conflict or to complete with the products from your company you are marketing – they all work together for you.
Let me give you an example of what I mean. Let’s say you’re marketing gold and silver coins. Why not create a fifty page PDF eBook and a two part video series about what kind of coins to buy and how to know what to look for when you are shopping coins? Many times you can find out the best topics about which to create a product(s) by sending out a survey to your list asking about what they would like to learn or learn more.
By doing this, i.e., creating and/or offering products additional to your company’s products, you are putting yourself in a position to make money regardless of whether they join your MLM business or not.
