So, what do you do, o new baby network marketer? How do you start generating leads for your internet network marketing business?
Do you really need to make a list of people you know? And do you really have to actually TALK to those people, either in person or over the phone?
The answer to both of those questions is a resounding YES! Even in this modern world of the internet, you still need to actually “network” with people if you want to have any success at generating MLM network marketing leads.
But, thank goodness, that’s not the only tactic you have in your arsenal to generate leads. With the power of the Internet, you can grow your leads exponentially faster than you could with old, offline methods. Offline methods still work and you need to use them, but let’s add some online marketing juice to the mix, shall we?

I didn’t say it had to be perfect, look beautiful, have 439 different monetization paths and be ranked in the Alexa Top 100. No way, no how. Just get started on your blog. Your blog is your nerve center online. Over time, you’ll get more traffic and leads, if you are ready to do the work. These results will come slow at first, but after some time and work, you’ll have more leads than you’ll know what to do with. So start blogging already!
MLM network marketing lead generation tip #2 – Start creating content. Now, we’ve already discussed blogging, but if you really want to see some fantastic results with your online efforts, you can’t just blog. You’ve got to become a content creation machine! In your arsenal, you can have articles, videos, audio, webinars, teleseminars, podcasts, interviews, ebooks, press releases…the list goes on. If you really want to start seeing some massive lead generation, use ALL of these tools.
Now, before you go and start whining about how hard it will be to create all of those pieces of content, hold on. You’ve got a blog, right? What happened to that blog post you just wrote? Do you think you can use it as a video script? An article? An audio podcast? Plus many more? You’re exactly right! Create one piece of content and use it multiple ways. See, the path is already getting easier.
MLM network marketing lead generation tip #3 – Start doing something. I don’t care what step you take first. Make your list of people. Start calling them. Start your blog. Talk to people at work. It doesn’t matter. Network marketing really is a numbers game. The more people you talk to, the higher chance of success you’re going to have of getting more people in your business.
So, what are you waiting for? If you’re waiting to become some kind of “expert” about your company, don’t. Think you need to have made a million dollars before you can recruit people, think again. You’ve got a great company, a great product, and hopefully an upline that will help you get those leads in the door. Get out there and start getting some leads!
