Marketing is the method use to bring the attention of the world of your target market to you. This can be done through various techniques free and paid respectively. Google, Yahoo, MSN pay per click or pay per thousand are amongst the most popular mediums. Your web site, landing page, audio recordings, DVD, CD are all complemented. With the modern technology it gives rise to web 2.0 and is increasing dramatically. Articles, Social Marketing (Blogs, Book Marking-Digg, Content Sharing-Squidoo, Social Sites-FaceBook and MySpace, Video Sharing-YouTube to name a few) become the new track for marketing methods and is imperative for marketers to present and around where prospects are and looking for solution for their problems.
Hence Attraction Marketing is the method use for your target market to come to you using logical mind and the internet. I call this method The New Paradigm of Network Marketing. The paramount essence of attraction marketing is Positioning. Positioning I mean yourself as a trusted human being, position in mind, position in mind with others, position in social media, position in many locations where your target market find you. Also, Attraction Marketing can be used for whatever purpose like direct sale, multi-level marketing and network marketing, affiliate and niche and so on and so forth. But before we do that, let me answer the ‘why’ of attraction marketing first of all.
Why Attraction Marketing?
Let me ask you this first, Do you want to be attracted or not? Hey how lovely to be attractive ha! There are lucky few around and you are going to be one. This leads me to my second question, Can Attractive be man made or one was born with? Think about the film stars, spots super star, a return soldier, a preacher or even your mentor, they all become attractive because they got something to offer and that ignite and touch the interest and attention of the public. How does this metaphor apply to internet marketing? Well, we will offer educational marketing information to attract people to us.
The need for a new strategy is imperative to the life of our business to day. Why? Because the current method (the old school of 3-foot rule, friends and families, everyone is a prospect) assaults the attention and freedom of many people who are not interested in what we are doing. That is, we keep trying every one on our way to look or join our business. Many times they refuse or say no but back in mind someone whisper to try even harder. Pity you do not know what you are doing (harassment) while the other party already shut out and gone.
Allow me to confess, I tried this method with three different health products for almost two years. Guess what happen to my auto-ship and how many prospects? Big hole in my wallet and huge 0 numbers of prospects is my reward? Further, I lost few of my friends and many of my families refuse to deal with me. They completely shut me out for what I am doing. Listen to what I have been taught, the more nos you have, the closer you are to yes. Don’t you think that doing the same thing and expect for a different result is the sign of insanity?
Needless to mention, this old method (above) encourage sure business failure, cost lost of money and worst off the frustration experienced.
Secondly, every business spend about 60%-80% on advertising. This is the most expenses you incur in your business. Why? because you need customers to your business. Advertising is not an option, it’s a must in order for your business to survive. But how about if you have all your advertising free of charge? This is the new paradigm of network marketing. This is cool! No headache, no cold call, and no more hotel meetings, the end to week-end parties and you have a good rest.
The bottom line of being attracted is becoming attractive. Feel good now? Sure you do. Hence you are no longer hunt for them they try what ever they can to reach you. Also, you are no longer spending a dime on advertising but busy watching your funnel to separate the goat from the sheep. Therefore, let’s go now and attract prospects to us.

Good question, I am so glad you asked, because this is the action part of the equation where I will talk you through positioning as the very key factor of attraction marketing.
When someone need something to solve his problem, they read magazines, go to forums, surf through the net, do a Google, Yahoo and MSN search and many more techniques trying to find what they want. They just don’t sit there and expect their need to come knocking at the door, not at all. And because they go out looking for what they want, they make our job far easier than ever. All we need to do is to position where these hunters come to and find us.
Think about how powerful this attraction method to the life of your business. This is the hot prospect. They come to you and you only deal with people who are genuine with your business type and like. You are no longer approaching people, they attract to you.
Let’s start positioning:
Position in Professionalism
This is your ground foundation to your Attraction Marketing System. Because it needs to have it down first in order for what is following on goes through smoothly. This is critical to your business and extreme care is needed. Once they are in place, it shows how professional you are and hence, attracting people to you. There are four (4) ingredients to this ground work and they are related and talk to each other: Your Target Market, Your Domain Name, Your Key Word and an Email Address.
Target Market: You must choose your target market first and foremost. Do a research on which your target market is. Target Market is people they have specific problems and needs specific solution. They are really starving. This could be Health and Wellness, network marketers or in my case the ‘beginners income from home business’. Once you know a target market and are starving; bang! your product is born and you give it right to them. Do not risk having a product first and look for a market. It is like having the cart in front of the horse.
Identifying yourself to a particular need/problem makes it easy for your target market to look specifically to you. This means you know what their problem is (what they want) and you got the solution (product)
Your target market is the specific group (of people) you want to communicate and deal with, Why? Because they are specifically looking for your specific product.
Do have in mind when you think about your target market, it has to be in line with your passion. Your passion is your fever and interest because this is what you are going to do and spend the rest of your life with. You are not going to give up or stop doing it. You’ll love doing it and are a life commitment.
Domain Name: Domain name is the name of your URL. There is only one rule for your domain name: To talk to your target market. If you take Health and Wellness, may be your target market is “Loosing Weight”

Key Work/Key Word Phrase: This is the word/phrase use by your target market to find you on search engines. For example, they go to Google, Yahoo or MSN search, and type in the key word and find you. Here in our example is ‘How to loose weight’. You may recall the same you use through your research for your target market.
I sense the search engine (Google, Yahoo & MSN) found key word phrase more favorably than a single key word. That is why you find mine that way.
Email Address: After buying your domain name from Godaddy.com, your next step is to buy an email address as well. This is very important because it will show to your target market you play this game professionally. They will give you an email address like, Your name @Howtolooseweight.com
The above are four musketeers pre-laid foundation of attraction marketing system. They are linked and related to each other. As I have shown above, if someone (target market) do a Google search, the key word/phrase takes you to the domain name (URL) where the information solution awaiting are all the same name with email address like mine, Beginners income from home. One cannot be divorced nor neglected, and are golden rules in my marketing business system.
In order for your target market to attract to you, you need to position yourself in a way for your target market to find you. That is, you write a short biography of who you are, what you are doing, where you come from, your country, culture, belief and even your hobbies. When you let one knows you as a person, you create some trust and one may start attracting instantly because they know you.
Do you know the reason why one buy from you or join your business? Oh yeah it is a good product or a well known trusted company. Not at all, people join You neither the product nor the company. They want to follow a human being to give them what they want, someone they trust whom they know. More than 80% of people buy/join you because they want to deal with one they know. They want you because you gave them something in value neither the company nor the product you are trying to sell.
How does this positioning work? Have your biography drawn up on your web page, landing page, introducing through your emails below your signature file, phone calls and personal contact. Allowing yourself to be known, you are at the same time attracting all kind of people to you but in this case I am limiting to our target market.

Patriotism is define by Wikipedia is that a person has a moral duties to fellow members. Meaning we live in a moral service to serve others. In business the same applies if you want to attract more prospects.
Always have in mind we are out there in the field to serve not to direct. Start by putting the other person first by getting information not giving information. It may break the ice with a simple question and when he starts talking you better be nothing but listening. Empathy is your next vehicle in mind. Riding with him, put yourself in his position and pay particular attention for what he is talking about especially to identify his main concern and or problem(s) That is the way we position our mind and he will open up to listen to you. Bear in mind that listening you are allowing him to open the door to listen to you.
